R.I.P. CenterStage

January 2005 - December 2008

It is with regret and sadness that I announce that CenterStage - The Mac Media Center is no longer being actively developed, even after teaming up with the Plex group we feel that it is too big a task to make our concept become a reality. Plex now uses the MediaStream skin, it is therefore doubtful you will see the 'CenterStage concept' as part of Plex due to the effort needed by all to bring it up to this standard.

We would like to thank everyone for their support over the years, and of course are always open to serious offers from open source developers to revive this project - but as said above we feel that this is too great a task for a small open source project.

The site content has been archived offline and is available by contacting the webmaster, binary & source code alpha releases are available on our SourceForge Project page along with contact for mrzippy the project webmaster.

I now direct anyone looking for a Mac Media Center to the Plex site.
